Research Institutes and Affiliated Hospitals
The Department of Biochemistry enjoys connection with over 10 different research locations and affiliated institutions. Many of our labs are housed at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Medical Sciences Building (MSB), the Medical and Related Sciences (MaRS) Innovation Hub, the Hospital for Sick Children's Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Innovation, and the Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomedical Research. Additional departmental nodes are located at major Toronto Hospitals and On Campus Research Centres. This geographic network allows for rich interactions between research groups across departments and facilities. It also creates unique opportunities for collaboration and accessing intra- and extra-departmental technology and expertise. Our Seminar Series takes place at different sites and helps students and faculty explore the different facilities available through the network.
