Course Next Offered
Winter 2026

12 hours of instruction (6 weeks of 2 hours each) on Wednesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 AM in the MaRS Centre, South Tower, room 1622. The course will run from January 7 until February 11, 2026

Method of Student Evaluation: Students will receive assignments at the end of class, due before the start of the next week’s class (to be turned in via Quercus or emailed to david.curran@utoronto.ca), and one final project that will be due one week after the final lecture, on February 18. The four assignments are designed to help students absorb and synthesize the lecture material, with the final assignment requiring application of the entire course. As such, the final assignment will be worth double the weight when determining a student’s final grade; the final course breakdown of grades will consist of 2/3 from the assignments and 1/3 from the final project.
