Donna Heslin, MSc

Donna Heslin holds a Master’s degree in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology from the University of Toronto and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). She has worked in the field of student development, mentorship and employment strategies for over ten years at U of T. Donna developed and managed the internship program for the Master of Biotechnology program at U of T, as well as the mentorship and employment program for the Pathways to Biotechnology Program for internationally trained professionals at the School of Continuing Studies. Donna is currently the Assistant Director of Operations for the Department of Management at U of T Mississauga.

Dr. Allan S. Kaplan, MSc MD FRCP

Dr. Allan S Kaplan is currently Chief of Clinical Research and Senior Scientist, Campbell Research Institute, at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health. He is also Vice Chairman for Research and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, and Director of the Institute of Medical Science. His research has focused on innovative treatment approaches to eating disorders and on the genetics of anorexia and bulimia nervosa. He has published 150 peer reviewed articles, two books, 50 book chapters and over 200 abstracts. He was the inaugural Chair-holder of the Loretta Anne Rogers Chair in Eating Disorders at the University Health Network, the first endowed Chair in eating disorders in the world. He has been a continuously funded peer reviewed investigator since 1992, and has received grant support from the National Institute of Mental Health in the USA Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the Ontario Mental Health Foundation.

Monique Rehal, MSc

Monique Rehal is a skilled quality control supervisor within the pharmaceutical industry. She develops and implements clinical quality programs and integrates new process amongst cross-functional teams. She is an experienced clinical project manager with working knowledge of industry regulations, managing and conducting molecular and Phase I-IV clinical research projects, and advocate and volunteer for non-profit organizations.
