Overview

This is an advanced course dealing with the fundamentals of protein crystallography. The topics covered include diffraction theory, crystals and space groups, x-ray sources and optics, data collection, phasing methods and structure refinement. This course is intended primarily for students training in the area of protein crystallography. Students interested in an introductory course should consider BCH425H Biophysical Methods.
