Dr. Nana Lee continues to highlight her expertise on graduate professional development, mentorship, leadership, and equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) at multiple speaking engagements in 2021. She brings her enthusiasm, charisma and innovative multiple, interactive tools through the virtual learning space to provide an inclusive, engaged audience.
Some of her speaking events the past two months include sharing her “Students as Partners” model with a North American Graduate Career Consortium Regional Conference, OICR Rising Stars Mentorship Program, ‘”Success in and after Graduate School” for UT Mississauga and UHN Teaching and Learning Week, Science to Business Network “Breaking Down Barriers and Strengthening Diversity in STEM” for over 100 attendees, U of T Professional Graduate Students Caucus “Finding Your Own Mentor“, Beyond Science Initiative “Creating Opportunities in Research” for over 140 students from Canada, USA, Europe, Africa and Asia.
She has also started engagements with Science to Business Academy last semester to reach students across Canada and the USA. Her latest article on EDI is entitled “Everyday Tips for Equity-Minded Scholars” published by Inside Higher Ed.
