Dr. Nana Lee
Dr. Nana Lee brings her second annual summer workshop for PDFs and senior PhDs.
Topics to cover are: Success in Academia, Success outside of Academia, Effective Networking, Elevator Pitch, How to Create your Career Pathway, Writing a Stellar Resume and Cover Letter, Preparing for the Interview/Negotiation. Networking Sessions with Professionals from Academia, Sanofi, OGI, Baycrest, St Michael’s, Janssen Regulatory Affairs, Patent Law.
Sessions are interactive and outside work will be required.
Space is limited. Registration is $100 (may be covered by your PI’s conference/career development budget.) Free for senior PhDs.

Janssen Pharmaceuticals has invited selected graduates from GPD program and this workshop for a site visit on May 19, 2015 from 9:30 to 11 am. The visit will include an overall picture of various career pathways at Janssen, a tour of the facility, and a networking session with various staff. This is an informational session.
All interested individuals are to send a paragraph of career interests, updated one-page resume, and year of study all on one document titled “Your last name_Janssen Visit” by April 25, 2015.
The number of participants is limited, so selection will be based on the above criteria and assessments taken at the workshop.
Workshop is on Fridays May 8 and 15, 2015. 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. MSB Rm 5231.
